For publishers, brands & editorial
Watercolour illustration services for publishing, brand and editorial work.
Hand-painted watercolour illustration from an independent studio - botanicals, wildlife, and storybook characters in a soft, natural palette. Working with publishers, agencies and brands across the UK, Europe and beyond.
Who I work with
Children's book publishers, editorial teams, independent brands, and design agencies looking for a hand-painted watercolour voice - one that doesn't feel mass-produced or off-the-shelf.
Recent and ideal projects sit somewhere in picture books, middle-grade interiors, magazine and newspaper spots, packaging for food and lifestyle brands, greeting cards and stationery, and surface pattern for fabric and home goods.
What's on offer

Licensing existing work
Most pieces across the site can be licensed for book covers, editorial, packaging, stationery, fabric, and home goods. Flexible terms by use, territory and exclusivity.

How a project runs
- 1. Inquiry & selection. You send the project details, the usage scope, and the timeline. Because the studio prioritises creative focus, I only accept select projects each season that align with my current aesthetic.
- 2. Review & quote. If the project is a good mutual fit, I'll come back with a custom quote and a tentative schedule.
- 3. Execution. Final artwork is hand-painted in watercolour, scanned at archival resolution (300 DPI), and delivered as print-ready, high-resolution layered files.
Common questions
Good to know
- What kinds of projects do you take on?
- Editorial spots, packaging, surface patterns, fabric design, and book projects. The studio intentionally limits the number of active custom projects each season to protect production quality.
- Do you license existing artwork?
- Yes. Most of the pieces you see across the site are available to license for print, digital, packaging, or product use. Tell me which piece, where it'll appear, and the rights and territory you need, and I'll come back with a quote.
- What's a typical turnaround?
- A single custom illustration usually takes two to four weeks from brief to final files, depending on complexity and revisions. Larger sets and book projects are scheduled further out — get in touch as early as you can.
- What files do you deliver?
- High-resolution, print-ready PNG files at 300 DPI, plus web-optimised versions. Layered files can be arranged where the project needs them.
- Do you work with clients in the UK and Europe?
- Yes. The studio is based in Europe and works regularly with UK, EU, and international clients. Contracts and invoicing in GBP or EUR are no problem.
