Hi. I'm Tina and here is a note from me.
TH Illustrations is an independent watercolor practice. I paint things of escaping beauty - wildflowers growing between cobblestones, a hare frozen at the edge of the field, the wren that comes back every spring.
When the world outside grows too loud, painting brings me back to my true self. I want my illustrations to carry that lightness and transparency that are difficult to describe in words. To refer to a hushed world that is always waiting right there, on the border between reality and imagination.
My work begins outdoors where I sketch from life. I then carry the studies back to the studio where the paintings take their time - usually a week or more, layer by translucent layer. I work on cold-press paper with traditional artist-grade pigments.
Commercial Partnerships & Commissions
I collaborate with brands, art directors, and publishers to bring custom, story-driven watercolor illustrations to commercial projects. I accept a limited number of commissions each season for editorial layout, packaging design, book illustration, and licensing partnerships.
